Bliss
This is our second annual after Christmas Trip to Palm Springs. We are on the 2nd floor of building 16 over looking a pond. Our balcony gets morning sun which I took advantage of this morning as I propped my feet up to read "The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society", a book I am thoroughly enjoying.
Last night we splurged and ate at the hotel restaurant. We toasted about 4 times with our pretty glasses of water:

To new adventures and no repeats of last year's vacation!
To walking through the Indian Canyons!
To God and all his beautiful creation!
The girls swam and Amelia, to her great excitement, met a girl from Germany. She thought that was pretty cool.
Our first night here, we ate at "Outback Steakhouse" Amelia, Sydney and I took advantage of the DS's and pictochatted each other while we waited for our table. Fun Stuff.
Yesterday I was off to the "spa" for some alone time. When I returned, the girls were having fun jumping from one bed to the next.
We went to bed New Year's Eve at 10:00 and woke up and watched the Rose Parade. Well, They are watching the parade. I got them all set up and I'm sitting on the balcony reading and reflecting on my trip. Weather is perfection. Soon we'll be off to the aerial tram...our only repeat.... but I'm convinced that it will be nothing like last year.
