He Remembers Our Sins No More

Sydney and Amelia were having a "discussion" on whether God FORGETS our sins or not. Amelia said... yes... he does forget our sins. And Sydney said... no... because God knows eeevverything!

I told Sydney that God forgets our sins. The bible says it in Hebrew 8:12... I had to go look it up.

She was rather disappointed that she was wrong... because she was, well, wrong.

So the next night we were praying... she was praying... and she sounded like this:

Well, God, I know that you forget our sins, but, it doesn't really make sense, I mean, I can't really understand it, but I believe that it's true even though it doesn't really make sense because you know everything.

I love my kids!

Hello Again

Well, I've been lost for a while. Lost is a good word for it. But I'm beginning to feel like myself again. Switching grades took more out of me than I anticipated, and it's not over. I am learning that I need to be true to myself and teach how and what I know.

Amelia has won two games now. Her team is called "Red and Black Attack". She continues to LOVE to play defender and is getting pretty good at it. Not too much gets past her. She also is still IN LOVE with horseback riding. Her favorite horse to ride on is Forest.

Sydney is enjoying First Grade and her teacher calls her the "perfect student". She is taking a break from gymnastics, but will probably to a cheer camp soon. She is so excited about it.

I am trying to rekindle my joy of gardening and,I like to sit outside and watch the kitties play.

This picture says a lot to me. It brings me back to a time when life is good and peaceful. It reminds me of my childhood of sitting on the bow of the boat and watching the water wiz by without a care in the world. It also tells me that 3,000 mile road trips are worth it!

Honk if you felt the earthquake!

The story goes... The girls felt the earthquake and started to scream. Julie placed all the girls under a doorway of some sort. After the shaking stopped, Amelia didn't want to get out of the door way. After a while she came out and tried to call me (I was at school with Shelly writing a letter). The girls informed the Sugita kids of the protocol of earthquakes. Julie said she was impressed.... big grin :)
